“The greatest thing in the world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving.”

– Oliver Wendell Holmes

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”

– Benjamin Franklin

“Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.”

– Unknown

I am bucking the trend of usually sharing inspiring links, character building tips, and personal stories for a little advertising….

life.aisle is now on facebook!

Inevitable in today’s world, I know! But it is a huge step forward. I started this blog as a simple way of capturing my thoughts, my interests in motivations and personal growth, kind of like a public journal. Has been building momentum of its own, so I decided why the heck not just go pubic with the whole thing.

You know you want to. Please, please go ahead and click it!

Thank you. Tomorrow we will return to our regularly scheduled programming!

  1. You seem for real. What is your plan for the blog? For you? I want to follow genuine, truthful blogs. I enjoy reading about your real life. Just adding my 2 cents. Take care, m

  2. To be real…I started the blog out of curiosity. Sure I’m in recovery and all that, but its difficult to narrow the vision of a blog!

So I try to think of what makes my heart sing, gets me excited, gets me talking. What topic when brought up I feel the need to share my 2 cents? There are a few things that come to mind….

Success – setting goals, making plans, and following through. Learning – from the past, from each other, from great truths. Growth. Relationships.

I mean I could go in plenty of directions!

So I guess that is just where I will go…I love sports, especially baseball. I am studying software administration and plan to enter the IT field soon. Have entrepreneurial dreams too. Great thing is all these things intertwine in a strange way…

  3. We all Change.. Life would be static without it and grow stale…. Now is the best time for Change…. Keep going with your gut instincts and follow where it leads you..
Wishing you well on Facebook… ~Dreamwalker

  4. I guess i was asking about your blog because mine is all over the place. A friend convinced me to tell my story of recovering from bulimia. It’s sort of hard to shift gears [when i want to do so].

Still, i find myself writing poetry, moody stuff, or bulimia stuff, sarcastic/funny things. I paint as well … but i find it boring to write about it … just trying to enjoy the ride i guess in my usual meandering way.

    • Yeah sounds like you’re singing my song. Always enjoyed writing growing up, so I guess I look at it as a hobby or something I do for the enjoyment of it first and foremost.

Either way, if you share something from the heart, make it valuable to others, it will take off.

      • Excellent advice. Enjoy the ride, and help others. I enjoy your eclectic site, btw. The 23 Human things, something like that. It’s great to have a day with an unexpected laugh. M E D I C I N E!!
